Conocimos la raza de una manera de lo más casual, en una conversación de lo más inocente sobre las razas de perros que más nos gustaban. Así fue como un buen amigo me hablo por primera vez del Perro Lobo Checoslovaco (PLC) y la primera vez que vi una foto de un ejemplar. Este primer suceso marca el comienzo de un intenso estudio para conocer que era exactamente un PLC , y aunque mi fascinación y el azar hicieron que encontrase un criadero cerca de Pontedeume, donde pude ver mis primeros ejemplares en vivo. Y ahí fue donde me enamore perdidamente de la raza, pese a que el criador intento por todos los medios sacarme de la cabeza hacerme con un PLC, a la vista está que no lo consiguió.
Aunque me encantaron sus perras y si por mi fuese hubiese reservado un cachorro en aquel mismo instante, pero por motivos laborales saldría del país 6 meses y hasta mi regreso. Finalmente a mi regreso y con gran pesar me entere de que el criador había abandonado la cría al ver como sacrificaban a o se deshacían de varios de sus perros. Aquel suceso que trunco mi primer intento de hacerme con un PLC, y aunque seguía teniendo claro que quería un ejemplar, aunque aproveche ese hecho para informarme todavía más sobre la raza.
Finalmente me aconsejo con el primer criador que me envía a ver a otro. Y me enamoro de sus ejemplares y me marcho de su casa habiendo hecho una reserva. Y fruto de todo esto nos hacemos con Cruz del Sur Maya Wolfdog Land, nuestra PLC.
Aunque al principio no teníamos idea de criar con ella ni muchísimo menos, empezamos a acudir a exposiciones y a ganar títulos como Campeona Joven de Portugal. Viendo que nuestra Maya era un ejemplar digno de admirar, comenzamos a plantearnos la posibilidad de criar con ella, y tras darle muchas vueltas decidimos dar los pasos necesarios para hacerlo como consideramos bien hecho. Pedimos afijo, realizamos las pruebas de salud y las displasias. Comenzamos con un Fan page de Facebook y esta web es el último paso en la dirección que creemos correcta.

We met the race in a most casual way, in a conversation of the most innocent about the breeds of dogs we liked most. This was how a good friend first spoke to me of the Czechoslovakian Wolf Dog (CSV) and the first time I saw a photo of a specimen. This first event marks the beginning of an intense study to know that it was exactly a CSV, and although my fascination and chance made me find a kennel near Pontedeume, where I could see my first live specimens. And that’s where I fall madly in love with the race, although the breeder tried by all means to get me out of my head to do with a CSV, the view is that did not succeed.
Although I loved their dogs and if for me would have reserved a puppy at that same moment, but for work reasons would leave the country for 6 months and until my return. Finally on my return and with great regret I found out that the breeder had abandoned the calf to see how they sacrificed or they got away from several of their dogs. That event that land my first attempt to get a CSV, and although I still had clear that I wanted a copy, but take that fact to inform me even more about the race.
Finally I advise with the first breeder who sends me to see another. And I fall in love with their specimens and I leave their house having made a reservation. and fruit of all this we do with Cruz del Sur Maya Wolfdog Land, our CSV.
Although at first we had no idea of raising with her or much less, we began to attend exhibitions and win titles as a young champion of Portugal. Seeing that our Maya was a specimen worth admiring, we began to consider the possibility of raising with it, and after giving many laps we decided to take the necessary steps to do it as we consider well done. We ask for affix, we perform the health tests and the Dysplasias. We started with a Facebook Fan page and this website is the last step in the direction we think is right.
